Landmarc and the DTE collected the prize at a ceremony in London on Monday 11th October for their successful delivery of a ground-breaking military training facility that replicates the contemporary operating environment in the Middle East.

As well as aesthetic or historic importance, veteran trees often have features of particularly high nature conservation value such as dead limbs, hollows, rot-holes, water pools, woodpecker holes, splits, loose bark and limbs reaching the ground. Few of these features are found on younger trees and they provide habitats for very many species of bats, birds, insects, lichens and fungi, some of which are rare and legally protected.
