Why Landmarc?

Value for Money
Landmarc’s ability to initiate practical, long-term cost efficiencies which provide value for money alongside continuous improvement of service and reinvestment are what sets us apart.

Through astute stewardship and appropriate re-investment, Landmarc has proven to be able to improve estate condition whilst simultaneously reducing ongoing maintenance liabilities.

Collaboration
Landmarc’s philosophy revolves around a collaborative approach. Landmarc people work closely as a team and as a company we share a genuine partnering relationship with our client. This unique partnering arrangement has been recognised in recent years by awards from both Partners in Facilities Management (PFM) and the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM).

Judges of the PFM award which credited Landmarc with the Partners in Multi-Service award and the Overall award for the best entry said: The size and scope and criticality of this partnership is demanding enough, but what has developed is an excellent partnership that works at all levels.

Breadth of Expertise
The scope of our expertise stretches far beyond traditional facilities management. Our experience of military firing ranges and training area operation, rural estate and conservation management, management information provision and alternative income generation for re-investment demonstrates the breadth of our capabilities and our ability to innovate and adapt to deliver against the requirements of our client. These capabilities make sure the company is well placed to respond to changing needs and the requirements of new clients.

Integration
Landmarc excels at delivering integrated, bespoke and diverse services to enable our clients to achieve operating efficiency and performance improvement with one point of contact. Our willing, flexible and innovative approach to challenges is valued by our clients and we specialise in ongoing success and contract retention by forging long-term relationships with both our clients and our service delivery partners.

Information Management and IT Development
Landmarc is able to utilise its in-house Business Systems team to innovate technological solutions to meet the requirements of its clients. To serve the needs of the Defence Training Estate Landmarc has developed a bespoke estate-wide Management Information System to provide an extensive reporting and data querying facility to enable strategic management of training and investment on the estate.

Project Management
An experienced in-house Project Service Delivery team ensures timely and efficient delivery of client projects.

For the Defence Training Estate, Landmarc is required to respond to Urgent Operational Requirements (UOR’s). This involves rapid construction of mission-critical training facilities for forces deploying to Afghanistan. By their very nature UORs are faced with incredibly tight schedules and require complex de-confliction of military training and environmental mitigation. With its comprehensive range of skills and expertise, Landmarc is well placed to deliver against such complex and demanding objectives.

The most high profile example of this type of project delivery on the Defence Training Estate is the MoD’s flagship Middle-Eastern villages and associated infrastructure constructed at the Stanford Training Area, Norfolk - a £14m project which was delivered by Landmarc in just eight months.
