RAF St Mawgan Comes Onboard

Mon 9th Aug 2010

Landmarc is set to support 160,000 Defence personnel over the next year as they take advantage of accommodation facilities at the Defence Training Estate’s newest training camp.

RAF St Mawgan lies five miles Northwest of Newquay, Cornwall. It is home to the Defence Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Extraction (SERE) Training Organisation. From April 2010 the Defence Training Estate started to use the spare barrack buildings at the site (which were left over from the departure of American Forces) and plan over the year to accommodate up to 160,000 Defence personnel and cadets while they conduct various training both at RAF St Mawgan and throughout Cornwall. Over this period Landmarc employees for the South West region will be providing administration, bookings, accommodation, catering and waste services to the site.
