Training Areas and Ranges
Landmarc directly supports military training by ensuring the provision and monitoring of safe ranges and training facilities which include small arms ranges, field firing ranges, impact areas, dry (non-live) training areas, simulators, missile ranges, helicopter ranges and ground-attack ranges.This service includes:
- The provision of a Range Warden support service.
- Safety briefings.
- Support to range communications.
- Management of ammunition stores.
- An armourer service.
- Support to radar installations.
- Provision and maintenance of targetry equipment.
In addition, Landmarc provides a maintenance service for the rural estate developed to meet the joint needs of military training and environmental protection.
