Targetry Support
Landmarc supports MoD Targetry worldwide and this includes around 12,000 pieces of targetry equipment distributed throughout the UK and at sites in Belize, Brunei, Cyprus, Germany, Gibraltar and Kenya.
Our service ensures the maintenance and repair of all targetry equipment which ranges from battery powered, man-sized, pop-up targets to large scale, computer-controlled, high speed winches which simulate armoured vehicles travelling at speed. The targetry division is also responsible for the maintenance of all MOD range safety radar systems throughout the UK.
A central repair facility located at Netheravon in Wiltshire, UK provides fully equipped electronic and mechanical workshops, an extensive store of spare parts, comprehensive electro-mechanical and electronic support and the necessary management, administration and logistics support to ensure smooth operation of the service.
A team of fully trained targetry technicians provides field service support and works closely with Landmarc’s range managers, providing operator training and maintenance as well as supporting military units’ use of the equipment when required.
